Terms and Conditions

By booking a driving course through Droober Ltd, you agree to the following terms.

Booking and Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. We do not accept deposits.
Upon booking, Droober will allocate an available local instructor and confirm your schedule.
If we cannot assign an instructor for your chosen week or any subsequent weeks, we will notify you and offer a full refund.
Once an instructor has been allocated and the course scheduled, refunds will not be issued.

The total course hours include driving time to and from your pick-up location.
If transportation is required to a test centre, this will count towards your lesson hours.
Lessons may be spread over multiple days or weeks depending on course size and instructor availability.
Short breaks may be taken during intensive sessions as agreed between you and your instructor.
Pupils must bring their provisional driving licence to the first lesson. Failure to do so will result in cancellation, and no refund will be issued.

If you cancel a lesson with less than 7 days’ notice after your course has been scheduled, that time will be forfeited.
If you are unwell, we will attempt to reschedule your lessons, subject to instructor availability. If rescheduling is not possible, those hours may be forfeited.
If you fail to attend a scheduled lesson or arrive late without notice, the instructor is under no obligation to extend or reschedule that time.
In the event of illness, including self-isolation due to contagious illness, courses can be postponed but not refunded.
Any abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards your instructor will result in course termination without refund.

The instructor reserves the right to withhold the vehicle for the driving test if they believe you are not ready. In such cases, no refund will be issued for the test fee or remaining hours.
Test availability is subject to DVSA scheduling. If a test cannot be arranged before your theory certificate expires, additional lessons or test bookings may be required at your own cost.
No course guarantees a pass or test booking within a specific timeframe.

Droober Ltd acts solely as a booking and scheduling agent. The contract for driving instruction is between the pupil and the instructor.
All instructors are independent contractors registered with the DVSA.
In the event of vehicle breakdown, instructor illness, or DVSA test cancellation (e.g. due to weather or examiner strike), we will attempt to rearrange the course. Refunds will be provided for unused hours only if no suitable alternative can be arranged.
We are not responsible for traffic offences or legal matters arising between the pupil and instructor.
Please do not book time off work or make travel/accommodation arrangements until your course schedule is confirmed by your assigned instructor.

Once the course is scheduled, all lessons must be completed within 3 months of your start date.
Any remaining hours after this time may be forfeited.
If you pay for a course and do not begin within 3 months, your booking will be cancelled without refund.

You agree to:

Arrive on time for all lessons.
Refrain from consuming alcohol or drugs before or during lessons.
Treat your instructor respectfully and professionally.
Be honest about any medical or psychological condition that could impact your ability to drive safely.
Read a number plate from 20.5 metres (with glasses or contact lenses if needed).
Only book once you are committed to completing the course.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England, Wales, and Scotland.
