Female driving instructors available
If you’d feel more comfortable learning with a female instructor, let us know when you book. Droober works with female instructors across our coverage areas, and we’ll match you with one wherever possible, subject to availability. Every instructor, male or female, holds the same DVSA approval and DBS check.
Manual and automatic, your choice

Wherever you’re learning, your instructor teaches the actual roads and test routes local to you, not driving in general. That means knowing the roundabouts, junctions and test centre approaches your examiner will actually take you through, so nothing on the day comes as a surprise.

Every instructor drives a modern, dual-control vehicle, fully insured and maintained, so they can safely step in if you need help. You’ll learn in the same car from your first lesson through to test day.

Yes. We work with female instructors across our coverage areas, and you can request one when you book, subject to availability. All instructors, whatever their gender, are DVSA-approved and DBS-checked.
What qualifications do Droober’s driving instructors have?
Every instructor is a DVSA-Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), meaning they’ve passed the DVSA’s qualifying exams covering theory, hazard perception and teaching ability, and they’re subject to ongoing standards checks. Look for the green ADI badge in their car window as confirmation.
